The principle and characteristics of the sorter machine
The separator is a sorting equipment that separates mixed powdered materials into two parts - light and heavy - based on the principle of air suspension.
Principle and features: Under the action of the wind force conveyor, the materials pass through the fan, the feed hopper and fall onto the rotating material divider. Under the action of centrifugal force, the materials are fully dispersed and thrown towards the buffer ring. During the falling process, the heavier materials are affected by the cross airflow generated by the rotor and pass through the adjusting ring's blades, sliding into the coarse material collector of the separator for collection. Then, they are discharged through the fan; while the lighter materials, fine powder or fibers, are affected by the cross airflow and are transported along the air inlet of the middle part above the rotor to the fine powder collector of the lower separator for collection, and then discharged through the fan. After the fine powder or fibers in the mixed gas inside the separator are collected, they are transformed into clean air. This clean air is sucked in by the middle part of the suction inlet at the bottom of the rotor during its operation, passes through the vortex ring, and then flows back around the periphery of the adjusting ring to the middle part of the suction inlet at the top of the rotor, forming an automatic cycle. Under such a working principle of automatic circulation, the materials are divided into two parts - light and heavy. During the operation, the effect of sorting can be adjusted by adjusting the position of the adjusting ring.
